Brick-block making with b.r.i.c.k.w.o.r.k.s. School of Ceramic Arts
Experience the alchemy of combining found materials with fine clays to create your own unique set of sculptural brick-blocks, using processes inspired by traditional brick-making. Concoct recipes using combinations of Cornish clay, sea-worn glass, sand, shells and seaweed. Press your mix into moulds to create unpredictable fusions that will be revealed when fired to over a thousand degrees. Your artworks will be sent to you in the post within 2 – 3 weeks of the festival.
