Conner Ives is a 21-year-old designer from Bedford, New York. Ives started making clothing from his studio in Bedford at the age of 15. He moved to London In 2014 and is currently nearing the end of his first year in BA Fashion Womenswear at Central Saint Martins. Conner’s studio is based out of north London, where he develops his own collections alongside schoolwork. Working mainly with vintage clothing and materials, Conner’s nostalgic approach to design is honest and meticulous. Rihanna and Adwoa Aboah have recently worn pieces by conner. Aboah wore Custom look for the 2017 met gala in New York City, wearing a satin silk duster coat with swan embroidery spiraling down the 3 meter train. Conner has experience working at Wes Gordon and JW Anderson, and credits his rural American upbringing as a major source of inspiration in his work.
