Hannah Jane Walker is an award winning poet, performer and theatre maker from Essex. Her poems are unexpectedly funny, sharp and conversational.

Hannah has toured both the UK and internationally to wide critical acclaim winning a Fringe First in 2011. With theatre maker Chris Thorpe she has made four shows, which are part performance, part poetry gig and part interactive experience. The work is an honest encounter between themselves, an audience and the difficult and uplifting process of being a person. Her poetry plays have been published by Oberon and she has had a pamphlet published by Nasty Little Press. She has written for the Guardian and BBC Radio 4. She is also a Creative Producer, currently producing Francesca Beard’s new show ‘A Lie’ http://www.francescabeard.com/
