Venue: Workshop Barn, on Saturday.

In this engaging session, Ruth will facilitate an intuitive plant study and a medicine making workshop. Come and learn how the science of the senses and the use of your intuition can be used to identify the medicinal qualities of plants. These skills (and a herbal preparation you will make from the raw ingredients) can be taken home and explored beyond!

The first part of the workshop focuses on an intuitive and sensory plant study. Ruth will guide you in this fascinating exercise which shows you how the herbs active ingredients can be identified through taste. By understanding the science of taste, you will see how one can learn about a plants uses just through tasting them! This incredible process helps you to engage with your innate ability to identify with plants as we learn to channel information from them.

This is a primitive skill which is within us all, although in the Western cultures we are out of practice as the last century has seen us step away from a life of foraging for food and medicine. This skill is still within us, and Ruth’s workshop aims to help reawaken this primitive ability and give you an opportunity to forge a lasting connection to the knowledge of herbal medicine.
