Venue: The Tiddy Tent.

Lynne Hatwell, established her blog Dovegreyreader scribbles in 2006 as a means of staying sane in the frantic world of the NHS by sharing with a wider audience her lifelong love of books and pleasure in reading. In the eleven years since, a warm, welcoming and friendly online community has grown, where news of a good book can spread around the world in minutes. For three years the dovegreyreader tent at Port Eliot Festival welcomed authors to sit and have a chat on the comfy sofa and it will be a pleasure for her to come ‘out of retirement’ to do an event in the Tiddy Tent this year.

She will be joining Peter Beacham and Chris Chapman in exploring the rural life depicted in James Ravilious’s photographic record of the countryside in the 1970s and 80s.
