Roy Wilkinson, author of the acclaimed family/forestry/British Sea Power memoir Do It For Your Mum, will present another example of his CBTR music-and-nature quiz, with DJ accompaniment from Stephen “Spoonful” Parker. Expect shouting and questions on both fishermen’s maggots and Funkadelic’s Maggot Brain. Prizes will include a pair of tickets for next year’s End Of The Road.

Roy Wilkinson is a writer and some-time rock manager, best known for his work with British Sea Power and his memoir Do It For Your Mum (“The year’s best memoir” –The Guardian.) Roy is also much respected for his half-decade epistolary triangle with Ol’ Dirty Bastard and Helen Macdonald, author of H Is For Hawk. As is now traditional on the Caught by the River stage at Port Eliot, Roy will present a musical music-and-nature quiz – accompanied by live DJ audio from the legendary Stephen ‘Spoonful’ Parker. The pair have been acclaimed as “the Pound Shop Sleaford Mods”. There will be questions on moths and goths and the prizes will include a pair of tickets for next year’s festival.
