Claire Davey returns to Port Eliot for her fourth year of festival yoga. Claire creates a safe environment in which to discover body/mind awareness, enabling individuals to access and channel their energy. Her style of teaching is influenced by her background in performance coaching both in business and elite sport, where she believes in cultivating a sustainable way of being, one that enables individuals to thrive and survive on their own terms.
Yin yoga focuses on passive stresses of the deeper connective tissue. It mobilises and strengthens your joints, ligaments and deep fascial networks, while stimulating energy flow through your meridian lines. Poses are floor based and held for 2-5mins in order to sufficiently work the target area. You may want to bring a towel to roll up and use to support you in some of the poses.
