Photographic portrait and archive about everyday life in the Black Country

Black Country Stories is one of the most notable social documentary projects developed in Britain in recent years. Based in West Bromwich and organised by the agency Multistory, Black Country Stories has developed around a number of prestigious commissions involving photographers, writers and film makers. Documentary photographer Martin Parr, author Margaret Drabble and writer Susie Parr, will present aspects of their work from this ambitious programme and will join Emma Chetcuti, Director Multistory and David Chandler, Professor Photography at Plymouth University, in conversation to consider the projects wider impact and achievements.
