London-born and raised, Lail's first album Someone New made headlines in France and Germany. The single, Everyone is Moving to Berlin, soundtracked many a hipster's migration experience. After a long time touring - opening for Herman Dune, Jeffrey Lewis and ending up on stage with Devendra Banhart - Lail co-produced her second record, The Onion, between NYC and Geneva. A preview track, Lail's love song to Leonard Cohen, was released for his 80th birthday last autumn. The new album is set for release this summer - listen out for the first single Milo, currently circling the airwaves.
