Simon Beresford is an internationally renowned spoon player extraordinaire, scenic designer, creative director, and drummer. His eclectic career seems to land him in all the major music centres of the Galaxy. He carries a pair of silver soup spoons at all times.

He can sometimes be spotted performing with Jerry Hall with her band ‘Paris-Texas and The Uke’ Travelling for his various careers affords Simon the chance to play the spoons in the full spectrum of music venues and genres – a potted list of which would include Bluegrass in Nashville, Rock in London, Georgian Trad Jazz (that’s Georgia the country), Tarantella in Sorrento, Latin in São Paulo & Mexico City, Township music in Johannesburg, and assorted locations including Singapore, St Petersburg, and Monte Carlo. Anything that’s ‘got a good beat’ is his bag. From ‘Hold That Tiger’ to ‘Catch the Pigeon’: he’ll ladle the icing on the musical cake with his silver spoons, and guarantee to leave you hungry for another spoonful..... Simon is very happy to add a marquee in Cornwall to his back catalogue. Next stop a Yurt in Mongolia?
