The fun starts Thursday…
Only a week to go until what may be the LAST EVER Port Eliot. We open our gates to weekend ticket-holders at noon on Thursday 25th July at midday, and there’s fun to be had from the get-go.
BIG THURSDAY at Caught by the River will be GIGANTIC this year, with Aldous Harding, Pip Blom, Tiny Ruins, and Trevor Moss & Hannah-Lou.
There’ll be bands and cabaret from 2.45pm in the Ace of Clubs, including festival faves Wurlitzer, Abi Collins, Half Kut and the Rezner. Ross Geach and Mark Devonshire will be whetting your appetite on the Open Fire Stage. Join the Larks Haven opening ceremony and sound bath at 3.15pm, and book in for a massage.
And there are workshops and outdoor activities to get your teeth into, including archery, parkour, aerial silks, mindful kombucha-making, wild beer tasting, cider vs cheese, mask-making and a forest school supper.
There are still tickets available - and if your pals have been saying for years, ‘maybe next time’ - well, this is it. This is next time. It’s the last time. So get them to jump in, join us, for the LAST and quite possibly the very BEST Port Eliot. If we do say so ourselves… what a line-up!

Bring a cup and a bottle!
We are on our merry way to eliminating disposable plastics at the festival. As a guest in our home, we ask you to join us with the following:
- Bring a reusable mug and bottle - all our traders will give you hot drinks in your own mug, and please bring a reusable bottle for water.
- Please don’t bring disposable water bottles to site. There’s simply no good reason to. There’ll be plenty of taps around the festival for refills.
- If you’ve forgotten yours, we sell bottles and keep-cups at the Info Tent. A percentage of proceeds from our bottles will go to Rame Peninsula Beach Care to help keep our beaches plastic-free.
- Car share and use public transport to get to the festival. If you have space in your car, offer it out to fellow festival-goers HERE.
- Donate to Energy Revolution to balance your travel emissions. All donations are invested in renewable energy projects. If you’ve already bought your ticket, you can make a one-off donation on their website.
Workshops & Outdoor Adventures
Online bookings have now closed, but we hold back a limited number of tickets for every workshop for sale on site (including those sold out online). Here’s how to book when you arrive.
Hole & Corner, Workshop Barns & Great Outdoors – Book tickets at the Info point on the Haha. Arrive from 09:00 to book tickets for that day.
Idler Lawn – Turn up at the Idler tent just before the Workshops start. For frisbee tree golf, sign up in advance at the Idler Academy.
Survival Wisdom Masterclasses – Book tickets at the Info point on the Haha, meet at the Survival Wisdom Camp.
Lark’s Haven - book massages and treatments at their reception. Everything else is free and drop-in.
Plus, there are plenty of free and drop-in workshops, at Caught by the River and Fashion Foundation.
Festival merchandise
Since it’s our last year, we’re all for the keepsakes, and this year’s merch just might be our finest. Along with programmes, you’ll be able to buy this little lot from the Information Tent: our 2019 Rosie Lea tee, tote, tea towels (just 50 available), metal water bottles, keep-cups for hot drinks and limited edition camping mug.

The Woodfired Canteen: breakfast and lunch
The Woodfired Canteen is an inviting and relaxing dining spot next to the House run by Ben Quinn and his team. It’s a mix of wood-fired food, coffee shop culture, festival vibes and good honest hospitality.
Opening early for that all-important morning coffee to fill your re-usable cup, with our chefs lighting the grills and those first smells of cinnamon buns, bacon and fresh bread filling the air.
Lunch served from midday comes fast from the fires and straight to long shared tables. Enjoy a simple menu of bold flavours and seasonal Cornish produce.
Early afternoon, lively conversation will fill the intimate space, with food talks and demonstrations to bring guests closer to the subject. Tasters will find their way around the tables while our version of an afternoon tea is available.
…and join us for a pop-up supper
Each day, the Woodfired Canteen team will roam the Port Eliot grounds and lay a long table for over 100 guests… when the perfect weather window allows. A seat at the long table is £25 and only available to book at the festival. Head to Woodfired Canteen right by the House to book.
Getting to the festival
You’ll find directions for travelling by bus, train, on foot or by car here.
By train
By far the most pleasant way of getting here is by train, which tracks the beautiful Cornish coastline. The Pedestrian Gate is on Church Street (B3249), three minutes walk away from the nearest train station which is St Germans. Buy your tickets online at Great Western Railway or call 08457 000 125.

By car
If you are using sat nav or a web map, the nearest postcode for the main gate is PL12 5BQ. If you’ve forgotten to buy a vehicle pass, it’s not too late: you can buy one on the gate or online. Please do not park in the village - it blocks emergency vehicles, and the festival car park is much closer to the site.
