The School of Life is a new London-based social enterprise, its motto being ‘Ideas to live by’. They address such questions as why work is often unfulfilling, why relationships can be so challenging and what you could do to try to change the world for the better. Offering everything from classes on ‘How to be Cool’ to dream workshops, The School of Life offers a new and fresh take on how to approach modern life.
They’ll be giving a special Sunday Sermon in the Walled Garden, also featuring Idler magazine’s Tom Hodgkinson.
Philippa Perry, Rosie Boycott and Alain de Botton are also Ambassadors – Philippa and Rosie are also appearing at Port Eliot this year.
“Step into The School of Life premises in Bloomsbury. I defy you not to be enthralled.”
Hermione Eyre, Independent on Sunday
