Tipis and Yurts

Just imagine a comfortable tipi or yurt ready and waiting for your arrival at the Port Eliot Festival. No tent to wrestle with putting up, you can just get on with what matters most – enjoying yourself.

The opportunity to experience tipi or yurt living is available through Hearthworks, providers of the finest selection of tipis and yurts at UK events. These traditional nomadic tents benefit from spacious interiors, aesthetic design, and optional furnishings including rugs, cushions, sheepskins, table, and lanterns. For an extra good night’s sleep you can also book futon mattresses complete with sheets, duvet, pillows and woollen blanket. New for 2012, ‘power packs’ will be available providing plug sockets and electric lighting. Tipis and yurts come in a range of sizes perfect for couples, families or big groups of friends.

The tipis and yurts are situated in a camping area – close enough to the entertainment, but a welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle of the markets and stages. The tipi and yurt area includes reception staff to settle you in and a maintenance crew to make sure your stay goes smoothly. And, of course, there are full campsite facilities such as showers and toilets.
