One of the things that makes Port Eliot so magical is its location. So this year we created a new area – up in the Walled Garden, beside the bookshop tent – that’s dedicated to celebrating our local talent, drawing on the region’s distinctive poetry, history, literature… and more. And we’ve named it after the river that runs alongside the festival site.

With help from Literature Works, the Southwest’s literature development agency, and our friends at Bodmin Poetry festival, The Tiddy Tent features Cornish children’s stories, writing workshops, poetry readings, interviews and talks with some wonderful local writers and historians.
