Now in their fifth flush of youth, Java Five continue to entertain with their A Capella interpretations of rock, pop and jazz classics. The group first came together over a decade ago, when singer songwriter, Tony Hazard and Gerry Hillman first met. They have entertained at venues large and small in the UK and France ever since. Out of all the venues at which Java Five have sung, the Port Eliot Festival is special. It’s a firm favourite with the group who now appear here, for the fourth time.

Java Five’s current line up has been unchanged for the last three years with founder members John Batey and Gerry Hillman (the leader) and the newer members, Euan Hunter, Pete Maslen and Peter Dukes.

The group are famed in places as far apart as Kingsand and Cawsand and have entertained in the metropolises of Polperro, Looe, Liskeard and Mount Charles as well as in smaller cities such as Plymouth, Truro, Narbonne and Carcassonne.

The group are looking forward to entertaining you with their versions of classics, old and new, at the festival again this year.
