Polly Money’s sound incorporates mischievous melodies, swoon-inducing guitar work and poignant stories.
The Cornwall-come-London artist has opened for Muse in front of 80,000 at the Stade de France, supported Gabrielle Aplin in her hometown and represented BBC introducing at Glastonbury. She has also supported the likes of The Boomtown Rats, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas and Newton Faulkner. Add to that a place to last year’s Isle of Wight festival bill and you’ve got the long and short of just how far she has come already.
Now, Polly delivers her effervescent second EP ‘The Adventures Of The 90s Kid’. From nostalgic pop grenade ‘5’5’ through to devastatingly candid ballad ‘Goodnight’, Polly employs the tropes of classic songwriting in order to navigate the listener through her tumultuous journey from adolescence to adulthood.
