The Golden Dregs are a five-piece from Falmouth, Cornwall. They craft highly melodic and warmly reflective Americana and Rock ‘n’ Roll that is influenced more by the grey sands of the Southern Coast of England than the balmier heat across the Atlantic. They exhibit a wry, witty approach to songwriting which is due chiefly to the composition of Ben Woods, songwriter and frontman of the group who started it in 2013 as a solo project. The band is now fully formed by Woods, Jake Willbourne, Sam Stacpoole (all also of The Black Tambourines), Ry Cleave and Matt Cleave (also of The Red Cords).
