London’s all-girl bluegrass band, The Jolenes burst on to the capital’s country scene back in 2009 amidst a fug of hairspray and roll-up smoke.

Since then they have entertained audiences across the UK and Europe (including a tour of Belgian prisons) and become a favourite on the festival circuit including two Glastonbury appearances, the Red Rooster Festival and their debut Port Eliot performance last year.

Maverick magazine’s noted their ‘great stage presence’, their ’emphasis on fun and good times’, and concluded with a declaration of pity for any band that had to follow them!

They received critical acclaim for their debut self-titled album, earning its status as album of the week on UK Country Radio and have since released a 4-track vinyl EP of original material, Songs from the Reservoir.

2017 sees them return to Port Eliot after bringing down the house (well, the tent) with a storming performance last year.
