Brigit Strawbridge is a wildlife enthusiast and gardener with a passion for bees - especially bumblebees and solitary bees. She writes, talks and campaigns to raise awareness of the rich diversity of British bee species, the reasons for their decline, how to find and identify them, and what to plant to attract more of these amazing creatures to your garden.
Following her involvement in the BBC2 series ‘It’s Not Easy Being Green’, Brigit has maintained strong links with Cornwall and works closely with a number of environmental and wildlife groups seeking to make Cornwall a ‘Bee Friendly’ County
Brigit now lives in Shaftesbury, Dorset, where she and her partner have created a tiny wildlife garden, which featured recently on BBC Gardeners’ World
