Take a walk through the grounds with Stuart Woodman of 7th Rise and learn the art of foraging and making the most of nature’s larder. Identify common plants used for culinary and brewing purposes with a bit of etymology, history and mythology thrown in the mix.
7th Rise is a modern interpretation of lost skills. Based on the River Fal in Cornwall, 7th Rise is a residential outdoor course provider where guests can stay on site over a weekend and learn bushcraft, butchery, foraging, canoeing and shooting. With a selection of accommodation types from a 300 year old stone cottage, to an upcycled treehouse, it is a unique woodland experience. Created in 2012 by Thom Hunt of Channel 4’s Three Hungry Boys, 7th Rise has grown into one of the most popular outdoor course providers in the UK.
