Blanche Vaughan is a food writer, cookbook author and food editor at House & Garden magazine. She began her career working as a chef at Moro, the River Cafe and St John restaurants then went on to write about food. She has contributed to the Guardian and The Observer Food Monthly and published several cookbooks with Weidenfeld & Nicolson, including In One Pot, and Egg. She now writes for and edits the food pages of House & Garden magazine and is writing her seventh cookbook.
