Regula Ysewijn is a photographer, graphic designer and the author of two books: Pride and Pudding: The History of British Puddings, Savoury and Sweet and Belgian Café Culture. She writes her blog ‘Miss Foodwise’ where she focusses on food and social history and travels between Belgium and London for her work as a food photographer and writer. She has been a Great Taste Awards judge for the Guild of Fine Food for many years and is also one of the judges for a baking show on Belgian television.
Regula will be demonstrating how to make some historical tarts that will look like they have been taken out of a renaissance painting. The setting of the Big Kitchen in Port Eliot house will transport you back two centuries.
