Katy has spent the last few years on a personal campaign to bring oysters back to thier former glory in the British food scene.
She started out giving masterclasses and chef demos specifically on oysters as a result of her charity work in food education and her close to life-long passion for the oyster. She also now runs the exclusive catering, company, Mangez Moi Oysters.
Shucking well is a skill and Katy and her team of Oyster Academy trained Shuckerettes provide a top class shucking service to weddings, parties, premieres and any event that needs them. Katy and her team's in depth knowledge of the oyster entertain guests as much as the delicious oysters.
In addition to the catering and training Katy works both through her own company and with the World Oyster Society on education, restoration and awareness raising projects and events.
