Alex Bellos is the author of the bestselling popular maths books Alex’s Adventures in Numberland and Alex Through the Looking Glass. He was formerly the South America correspondent for the Guardian, based in Brazil. He is the author of Futebol: The Brazilian Way of Life and ghostwrote Pelé’s autobiography. He also presents documentaries for Radio 4.
