James is an imaginative storytelling comedian who combines deft stand-up with daft stories.
Dowdeswell has appeared on numerous TV shows including Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC) and Extras (BBC) where he played the Count in the David Bowie episode. He is in the current Somersby Cider Advert (RSA) and last summer was the co-host of World Cup Round Up for Sky Sports.
James Dowdeswell has just returned from a sell out run of A Brit’s Guide To Booze at Perth Fringe.
James is a headline act at most top UK comedy clubs. He is an Edinburgh Festival regular and his comedy has travelled as far as Shanghai, Dubai, Doha, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Phuket, Bali, France, Belgium, Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Malta, Lanzarote, Tenerife, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore.
