Master Clogmaker Jeremy Atkinson makes 19th-century style clogs in his workshop in Kington in the Welsh Marches. Atkinson is the sole remaining English hand carver of traditional British clogs. (British clogs, unlike the Dutch "Sabot" type, always have a wooden sole and leather upper.) Atkinson has travelled across Spain and France researching European clog making traditions and demonstrates his clogmaking skills at select festivals and fairs in Britain.
