The short story and beyond

Stuart Evers's first book, Ten Stories About Smoking won The London Book Award in 2011 and his highly acclaimed novel, If This is Home, followed in 2012. His new collection of stories, Your Father Sends His Love has been praised by Teju Cole, Jenny Offill, Eimear McBride and Ian Rankin, and is published by Picador in May 2015. Born in Cheshire in 1976, Stuart Evers writes about books for the Independent, Guardian, Telegraph and Observer, and his fiction has appeared in the Best of British Short Stories 2012 and 2014, on granta.com and sundaytimes.com and in Prospect magazine. He lives in London with his family.
