Delighting in the joys of summer, The Woodland King invites you through the trees on a pathway into your imagination, as Moon, Queen of The Night Skies sits entangled in the branches poised to open the book of Fae on new page; a new chapter full of adventure and stories for those who still hear the call of the wild. Get lost in a world of Mermaids and Cursed Nets, Pop Princesses and Eighties Power Ballads, Bandits and Vendettas and Lost Bankers in the Land of Fae. There will be enchanting live music, thrilling stories, otherworldly performance, explosive acrobatics, dancing, fire, and free face painting…and of course, at the end, together we shall dance. It is a ball after all! Woodland creature costumes, faerie Dress, otherworld outfits, party frocks, animal masks, funny hats, forest finery, frippery, feathers and fancy hairdos are encouraged though not essential. (Grown ups as well as children) All are welcome, from near or far!

Best known for creating immersive theatre adventures in wild spaces Rogue Theatre brings imagination to life with fire and spectacle, with explosive physical performance, dance, humour, acrobatics, epic live music and a twist of old magic, mud and glitter. Established in 2004 Rogue is a Cornwall based company that has toured nationally and found a home outdoors amongst the trees. The company produces a number of theatre adventures throughout the year that span the seasons (even deepest darkest winter). We love adventures that take the audience and us on a physical and an imaginative journey into exciting new landscapes and story worlds.
