My Window Faces South
Serving up a fantastic fusion of sweet country music, southern soul, bluegrass, blues, western swing, hillbilly boogie, proper beardy rock n’ roll, swirly southern psychedelia and other random treats, My Window Faces South brings you “all that’s righteous and groovy from the south – God, whisky, sex, death and horses!”
With a popular night on the first Friday of every month at Farringdon’s legendary old boozer and hotbed of new music talent, the Betsey Trotwood, My Window Faces South are bringing their sweet sounds to Port Eliot for the first time this year – and are sure to get our dancefloors heaving.
“It’s a casarole - a pinch of 1920s blues, some ground 1940s swing, a sprinkling of Alabama gospel and some diced 1960s southern-fried soul, rolled in Cajun Creedence Clearwater spices. Delicious.”
Alf Vikingo, reveller-in-chief
