Trawlers Restaurant
Considered by many to be one of the finest seafood restaurants in Cornwall, Trawlers’ cuisine is modern European using first class ingredients sourced from excellent Cornish suppliers. Executive Chef Proprietor Mark Napper will be doing a cookery demonstration in the Big Kitchen on Sunday afternoon.
Mark will be cooking up a mouthwatering menu of walnut and prune loaf, cheese and herb layered bread, oat crusted Looe bay mackerel with a garden mint and gooseberry chutney and a Cornish summer fruit cheesecake.
Taste of the West Gold Award winner and one of the Guardian’s Top Ten Outside Tables, Trawlers aims to provide guests with the very best of Cornish produce. Most of their fish is landed on the quay in Looe – just metres from the restaurant – and their beef, poultry and fresh seasonal vegetables are all sourced from Cornwall or the West Country, whenever possible. Trawlers uses local suppliers, because they’re committed, like the restaurant, to providing a quality product, supporting the local economy and reducing food miles.
