Untitled Books

Untitled Books will be running a Literary Lonely Hearts Club for the three days of the Port Eliot Festival. They’ll be bringing writers and poets with them and hosting a programme of readings and events, alongside which they’ll be doing their utmost to bring the beautiful folk at Port Eliot together…

There’ll be no more shy looks across the Bowling Green or failed nerves at The House of Fairy Tales… No longer will smitten festival goers have to spend the next 12 months wondering what might have been, and hoping that the object of their desire will be at next year’s festival. This year, Untitled Books will be on hand to give courage to the shy, a gentle nudge to the nervous, and romance to the lovelorn. There’ll be prizes, and the promise of exquisite passion… What more could you ask?

Author Rana Dasgupta will be reading and talking, and poets Glyn Maxwell and Caroline Bird will be wooing us in verse.

Founded in 2008, Untitled Books is a literary website and online magazine bringing the most exciting authors and their work to the fore. The magazine publishes a monthly issue of articles, book recommendations and interviews with British and international authors, as well as news, Q&As and short stories. And for the literary lonely, there’s a brilliant, offbeat, and occasionally extraordinary lonely hearts page. Untitled Books also aims to find, support and promote the work of up-and-coming and new authors through an Arts Council supported New Voices programme of original short fiction.
