Rob Young is The Wire’s editor-at-large. His recent book Electric Eden explored the world of folk music, while his current novel is wrapped around the world of 17th century Jesuit, Athanasius Kircher. He has recently been series editor of Black Dog’s stylish monographs of influential record labels – including books on Warp Records and Rough Trade.
