Rob Lambert

Dr Rob Lambert is a multi-disciplinary academic at the University of Nottingham, working in tourism & the environment (Business School), and in environmental history (School of History). He has published a number of books: edited collections Species History in Scotland, and (with T.C. Smout) Rothiemurchus: Nature and People on a Highland Estate 1500-2000; and a research monograph Contested Mountains; as well as numerous academic articles on the past and present relationships between Nature and People in Great Britain.

He is also a script and programme consultant to the BBC Natural History Unit in Bristol. He is a very keen British and global birdwatcher and cetacean-watcher, with around 30 years of field experience, and is passionate about showing people wildlife.

Rob will be speaking as part of Ceri Levy‘s Ghosts of Gone Birds symposium.
