Award-winning contemporary folk and shanty singing band Bellowhead are sure to fire up the revelry at Port Eliot this year. Voted Best Live Act at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards an unparalleled four times, Bellowhead come to Port Eliot fresh from recording their acclaimed third album, Hedonism, at the legendary Abbey Road studios. The 11-piece group is also Band in Residence at London’s Southbank Centre, and offer a unique take on the traditional music that influences them.
Bellowhead performed at the BBC Proms in front of 40,000 people and have appeared on BBC Four and BBC Breakfast, as well as Truck, The Big Chill, Glastonbury, Sidmouth and Cambridge Folk Festivals.
