The British Press Association’s Columnist of the Year 2010, Caitlin’s comedic and satirical articles in The Times are enjoyed by some of Britain’s comedy heavyweights including Armando Iannucci and Robert Webb. Her critiques of modern society and celebrity culture have also established a huge fan base.
Caitlin won the Observer’s ‘Young Reporter of the Year’ competition in 1990 - at the age of 15 – and published a children’s novel, The Chronicles of Narmo, a year later. She then went on to become one of the new wave of music journalists at Melody Maker in the mid-1990s and has been writing regular columns for The Times since 1992.
