Kevin is a successful British author with a number of novels adapted into feature length films. His novel Powder – made into a film starring Liam Boyle, Alfie Allen and Johnny Marr – delves into the disturbing world of the music industry, influenced by his own experiences as manager of Liverpool band, The Farm. Kevin will be presenting a special screening of Powder at Port Eliot this year.
His cult classic Awaydays, which charts the story of growing up in the 1970s against the backdrop of football violence, was also critically acclaimed – as was the film adaptation featuring Stephen Graham and Nicky Bell. Kevin’s other novels include Clubland, Leisure, Outlaws and Freshers.
