Simon Garfield

Journalist and non-fiction writer Simon Garfield is the author of 12 books, including the bestselling Mauve and The End of Innocence: Britain in the Time of AIDS, which was awarded the Somerset Maugham Prize in 1994. His latest book, Just My Type, is the story of fonts. Simon will be discussing his love of type at Port Eliot this year, as well as asking festival-goers to undergo a personality test to find a matching typeface.
