Paul Kingsnorth

Paul Kingsnorth is an English writer and activist. He is a former deputy-editor of The Ecologist and a co-founder of the Dark Mountain Project. His 2008 book Real England was quoted in speeches by the Prime Minister and the Archbishop of Canterbury and helped inspire the success of the hit West End play Jerusalem. His latest book, The Wake, was described in The Guardian by novelist Adam Thorpe as ‘a literary triumph’ and by the author Philip Pullman as ‘extraordinary’.
