With one of the most beautiful and expansive festival locations in the country, it’s no surprise that Port Eliot is much more than just the performers. While literature was the starting point, once onsite one gets a picture of a much wider world. There, festival goers can stumble on secret doors to late night hidden dancefloors and encounter pop-ups, dress-ups and pamper parlours. As always, be ready for anything.
This year, there is a list of activities that festival goers can sign up to. These include kayaking, sunrise yoga, tai chi, barefoot tango, foraging walks, archery, wild swimming, screen-printing workshops with Plymouth College of Art and a full weekend programme of craft classes in the Badger Sett.
As well as these, festival goers will have the chance to take part in the Flower and Fodder Show’s competitive classes. These include flower arranging; scarecrow building; jam, cake or pasty making and tea cosy creation. We will be posting up a full programme of extracurricular activities in the coming weeks.
