Nasir Mazhar

The term ‘millinery’ is hardly broad enough to contain the scope of Nasir Mazhar’s headgear – it can veer from leather American football helmets to nun’s wimples. Among his credits are some of Lady Gaga’s spectacular head-arrangements, and the scrap-trinket tiaras, paper crowns and corn-dolly combs he made for Meadham Kirchoff recent shows.

Nasir will be bringing his dextrously imaginative touch to their flower accessory event and wield brushes at Louise Gray’s makeup happening. Nasir, who began as a hairdresser, evolved into designing hats when Nicola Formicetti of Dazed&Confused requested special effects for magazine shoots.
