Louise Gray

Louise Gray

A cult originator of with own spontaneous way with splashy, graffiti-like pop colour and nutty accessories made out of re-directed stationery supplies, popcorn, bells, whistles and balloons, Louise Gray is the Pied Piper of fun in London fashion. Her talent doesn’t stop at making, printing and embroidering clothes; Louise is a dab-hand at applying make-up in playful dots and stripes in rainbow colours, a look which recently won her a Vogue beauty page.

She’ll be running face and body-painting sessions with makeup from Topshop in the Wardrobe Department. Louise, who is Scottish, studied textiles at Glasgow School of Art before taking an MA under the magnificent Professor Louise Wilson at Central Saint Martin’s.

“The playful anarchy, which characterises Louise Gray’s pieces, took a bold leap into a new and more developed show of craft and aesthetic for S/S 11”
