Christopher Biggins

The nation’s favourite panto dame and I’m A Celebrity… winner 2007, Christopher’s glittering career has spanned stage (from the Old Vic to the Royal Shakespeare Company), screen, writing (his candid autobiography Just Biggins was published in September). His 40 years in the profession have seen him in range of roles from Porridge to the Widow Twanky and Buttons.

He’ll be coming to Port Eliot’s Flower Show as a dame, and will be presenting ‘Panto: the Love of My Life’, talking about the origins of panto from the 17th century Commedia del Arte to the present day.
