Tom Shone

New York based author, film critic and literary editor Tom Shone will be chairing discussions about Martin Scorsese’s work in our Paradiso Outdoor Cinema and delivering ‘The Art of The Intro’ about his favorite credit sequences in film history, from Vertigo through to Se7en.

Tom is currently working on a film adaptation of his 2009 debut novel, In the Rooms, for Focus Features (Brokeback Mountain, Atonement). He’s also the author of Blockbuster: How Hollywood Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Summer and has written for Talk magazine, the New Yorker, the Guardian and the New York Times.
