Luke Williams grew up in Fife, Scotland and graduated from a creative writing course from the University of East Anglia where he was taught by W. G. Sebald. Sebald was a great influence to Luke’s first novel, The Echo Chamber, set in the dying days of the British Empire in Nigeria about a woman who can hear things that nobody else can. Luke has also contributed a chapter to Saturn’s Moons: A W. G. Sebald Handbook. He now divides his time between Edinburgh and London.
Luke will be performing with Natasha Soobramanien who wrote one of the sections in The Echo Chamber, and to whom the book is dedicated.
