Born in St. Ives, Andrew Lanyon is a painter, author, publisher and filmmaker. He’s known for his multilayered work, which can be seen in galleries from the Museum of Modern Art in New York to the Victoria and Albert Collection in London. His most recent exhibition, Von Ribbentrop in St Ives, is a narrative project that has also been published as a book compromising of paintings, drawings, sculptures and text. This exhibition is currently being held in Peer Gallery in London until July. His latest book, The Daughters of Radon, also has an exhibition, which will run throughout July and August in Kettle’s Yard, Cambridge.
