Helen Walsh

Helen Walsh is the author of three novels: Brass (2004), Once Upon a Time in England (2008) and Go To Sleep, which will be published this July. She has been awarded a Betty Trask Award, a Somerset Maugham award and was shortlisted for the Portico Prize. The Observer named her as one of “the most prodigiously talented young people” who will define the 21st Century. She was born in Warrington, and now lives in Liverpool with her partner and son.
