Roy Wilkinson

Roy Wilkinson is a journalist and sometime entry-level band manager. From around 1998 to 2006 he managed the band British Sea Power, and therein also attempted to manage his two youngest brothers. With the trio’s octogenarian father also getting involved, the band soon became a peculiar all-ages family gangshow – as recounted in Roy’s memoir Do It For Your Mum (published by the all-new Rough Trade Books), from which he’ll be reading at the festival.
