Patrick French

Winner of the Somerset Maugham Award and the Sunday Times Young Writer of the Year Award, as well as a plethora of other accolades and nominations, Patrick is a highly regarded expert on India and Tibet. His authorised biography of V.S Naipaul, The World Is What It Is, was shortlisted for the Samuel Johnson Prize and won the National Book Critics Circle Award and the Hawthornden Prize.
