Jude Rogers
Jude Rogers is a columnist and music writer for The Guardian, Observer, The Word and the New Statesman. She writes a weekly blog for the Caught By The River website called Lines Made By Walking, in which she tells tales of an uncharted and eclectic world, found by walking and taking note of the unique and historic streets of London. She’ll be talking about her experiences at this year’s festival.
Jude began her career as a writer when she founded quarterly London magazine Smoke: A London Peculiar in 2003. As a music writer she has enjoyed a variety of unique and occasionally bizarre experiences, from drinking tea with rock god Robert Plant, sharing a salad with Bjork, being serenaded by Randy Newman, and trying to look the other way as Cat Power went to the loo in front of her.
